GAV’S SURF: SUMMER NOT GIVING UP

Summer won’t give up.

There’s plenty of swell around for the weekend, especially for the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales, but the winds will be onshore causing some bumps.

The Mid North Coast will be home to some classic beach weather, feeling a lot more like summer with morning offshore winds and a moderate swell.

Newcastle and the Central Coast will also enjoy morning offshore winds but the swell will not be as big.

The pick will be get in before the lunch time high tide.
