Guyra residents could see a drop in their water pressure over the coming weeks, with Armidale Regional Council set to flush water mains in the town.
Residents have been complaining of discoloured and foul-smelling water.
While council maintains the town water is safe, it has decided to conduct a large-scale flush to clean out any remaining pockets of dirty water.
