ACTION PACKED WEEKEND FOR TAREE’S EASTER POWERBOAT CLASSIC

This year’s action packed annual Easter Powerboat Classic on Taree’s Manning River has been hailed as one of the best on record.

Wingham’s Lock ‘n Load pilot Ryan McIntosh and Victorian Mark Gauci in Immortal were among the top drivers.

Chris Pugley piloting Decision Racing to win the Geoff Stevenson Memorial with Laith Brown coming in second.

Meanwhile there was drama when pilot Tony Hearne was ejected from his boat Buddha – thankfully he made it back to the riverbank unharmed.

The region turning on what club officials describe as ‘almost perfect conditions’ across almost 60 races over two days.
