PETRATOS SET TO START AGAINST MELBOURNE CITY

Fresh off the plane from Socceroos duty, Dimi Petratos will start for the Newcastle Jets when they take on Melbourne City at home this afternoon.

After making his national debut against Norway, he didn’t face Columbia, meaning he’s fresh, and prepared for a big shift.

With Roy O’Donovan also returning, it’s unclear whether Merrick will also start Ronny Vargas AND Pato Rodriguez.

Ben Kantarovski will play in the back four, Nick Cowburn is expected to come into midfield.
