It’s been another frustrating commute to work for thousands of drivers at Lake Macquarie after a truck rolled on Lake Road this morning.
Traffic was heavy northbound after the truck rolled onto its side after 7am.
Salvage crews are on scene trying to clear the area.
Today’s incident follows another on Monday when a water main burst neat the intersection of Myall and Macquarie roads at Cardiff. The delays added up to an hour to the commute.

so disgusted in NBN and the order that they’re priorities are in. so upsetting that their news article is based, and seeming to be more important, around peoples commute to work rather than the safety & well being of the driver himself. and the fact that the driver wasn’t mentioned at all makes this even more upsetting & frustrating to read. please, report your news on what is important.
Ebony maybe the driver didn’t want his condition disclosed. I myself was involved in a car accident a few years ago and it was on the news and in the paper and it caused problems for me. I personally believe that things like that shouldn’t be brought into media without consent
