Gunnedah’s medical workforce has been strengthened with a new doctor and nurse signing on at Mackellar Care’s Rural Health Centre.
It is the second doctor to start work at the facility this year, with another beginning in February.
The Rural Health Centre was closed in July last year after the last doctor at the centre suddenly quit.
Mackellar Care took over the building in November.
