MAN INJURED IN ROBBERY AT CASINO SERVICE STATION

A man has been treated for lacerations after he was slashed with a knife during a robbery in the New South Wales Northern Rivers.

Police were called to the Centre Street service station in Casino around 7am, where it’s alleged three men armed with a knife and a metal pole assaulted a 61-year-old attendant while he was opening the store.

One of the men stole a sum of cash before all three fled the scene.
