GAV’S WEATHER: HEAVY RAIN ON THE WAY

A coastal rain event is now developing, and will deliver heavy rain to areas of the New South Wales coast.

The area under fire will stretch from the Central Coast to the Coffs Coast, while heavy flooding rain may affect areas from Newcastle to Port Macquarie with the Manning Valley under major threat.

Onshore winds will develop becoming very strong by Wednesday, while the rain is expected to set in tomorrow afternoon and last a few days.

Moving inland and the weather will remain mostly fine, as the danger area centres around the Mid North Coast.
