CARLY SMITH’S FIRST COURT APPEARANCE OVER OLD BAR FATAL

A woman, charged over a deadly crash at Old Bar earlier this year, has made a brief appearance at Taree Local Court.

 

Carly Smith is facing a string of charges, including manslaughter, dangerous driving, negligent driving and possession of a prohibited drug.

The 40-year-old Taree resident is accused of colliding with another vehicle on Old Bar Road late January…claiming the life of 19-year-old Abbey Stephens.

Smith’s case has been adjourned until May.
