A 12-month-old girl has died after being attacked by a dog in the North West town of Inverell.
Emergency services were called to a home on Greaves Street around 2:20 on Saturday afternoon, to find a child suffering critical injuries.
She was treated at the scene but died on the way to hospital.
The Rottweiler dog was seized.
