Meanwhile, a 17-year-old girl has suffered lower back injuries after falling two meters down a quarry in Port Stephens.
It’s believed the teenager was jumping off a cliff into the water at Salamander Bay when she misjudged a jump and landed on rocks.
She was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in stable condition.
