Taree’s Superbike rider Troy Bayliss has had a successful weekend at the 2018 Australian Superbike Championship at Philip Island.

The 48-year-old got off to a strong start in second place in the early stages of race two but it didn’t take long for Wayne Maxwell to blast past and begin his charge against Josh Waters.

Bayliss finishing in fifth position in race two, and sixth in race three.

Proving he’s got his father’s skills, Oli Bayliss claimed victory in the third and final Australian Supersport 300 Championship race, thanks to an unbelievable pass on the final lap.
