MID NORTH COAST POLICE INVESTIGATE A SPATE OF HEAVY VEHICLE THEFTS

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they believe is responsible for a spate of heavy-vehicle thefts on the Mid North Coast.

Strike Force Krume was established by officers after more than $350,000 worth of items were stolen from worksites between June and October last year.

They include a fuel tanker, water tank, Nissan Navara and SES boat.

“We do believe due to the type of offences being very similar that the offenders may have had specific knowledge about the worksites where the break and enters have occurred”

Following inquiries, police attended a national park at Dondingalong (DON-DING-A-LONG) a fortnight ago where they seized a number of stolen vehicles.

They want to hear from anyone with any information.
