HERMAN ESE ESE EXCITED FOR NEW CHALLENGE AT LOCK

He’s made a name himself as a damaging prop, but Knights recruit Herman Ese Ese will line up at lock against the Eels, with Mitch Barnett still out injured.

It’s a shift, he believes, isn’t actually that different.

“It’s kind of like the same thing as prop. Stand in that middle corridor and that same job. I think it’s a bit more ball-playing and longer minutes. I’m excited.” He said.

Excitement is building ahead of Saturday’s clash with players today visiting schools in the Maitland area.

It’ll be the first game on the city’s new sportsground, and it’s a sell-out.
