GAV’S WEATHER: HEAVY RAIN HEAD TO THE GOLD COAST

The north west region of New South Wales was largely cloud free once again with cloud cover mostly confined to the coast.

The wet weather will continue to contract to northern and eastern Queensland with heavy rain headed for the Gold Coast and north eastern New South Wales.

The weather will remain fine and warm, to hot, with northerly winds across the North West, Greater Hunter and Mid North Coast.

The Northern Rivers and south east Queensland will see heavy rain develop with gusty onshore winds. Localised flash flooding will be possible in the coming days.
