The days are numbered for Port Macquarie’s vacant Food for Less building on Short and William streets.
Port Macquarie Hastings Council has approved its demolition with owner Woolworths given five years to develop the site.
A management plan for the historic plaques adjacent to the site is required and controlled measures will be taken during the demolition phase.
