NEW RECYCLING CENTRE OFFICIALLY OPEN IN ARMIDALE
Armidale residents now have no excuse when it comes to helping out mother nature with a new community recycling centre now officially open at the city’s landfill site.
Free to use, ratepayers can now drop off problem wastes such as paints, oils, gas bottles and batteries.
It’s all aimed at keeping hazardous material out of landfill.

The centre – worth more than $230, 000 – is the sixth of its kind to open in the Northern Tablelands.
