NSW SURFERS DOMINATE SURFEST PRO JUNIORS

Corlette’s Kirra-Belle Olsson grabbed third at the Surfest Pro Junior at Merewether today.
Olsson had been competing in the Great Lakes Pro, but made the trip back to the Hunter worthwhile by reaching the final.
One of Australia’s top young prospects, Alyssa Lock from Tweed Heads, dominated the decider with two seven point rides.
In the men’s event, Callum Robson from Evans Head produced a five and a seven on his opening two rides to claim top spot.
Jackson Roberts from Bateau Bay was second, edged out by just over half a point.
