NATIVE BEES WANTED TO MAKE NEWCASTLE BACKYARDS A HOME

A handful of Novocastrians today faced a swarm of bee’s that would send many scrambling.

But these bees are friendly to humans, to the environment, and to our honey pots – and are bound for urban homes.

For more information, call Newcastle Council’s Environmental Education Officer Angus Weingott: 4974 2000

  12. Hi
Google brought this article to my attention just because I’m into bees. I hate to be a grammar nazi but I couldn’t help but notice that throughout this article an apostrophe is inserted into the plural of bees. “Bee’s” would of course only be correct if one bee’s ownership of something was being discussed, otherwise the plural is “bees.” Thanks for bringing attention to the native bees though, and I noticed you took the time to leave helpful comments to all the previous commenters, I’m impressed. 13. The bee expert’s name is Tim (not Jim) Heard. Also, there is no need for the apostrophe in “bees”.
