LAST OF MUNMORAH POWER STATION DEMOLISHED

The last two boilers at Munmorah Power Station have been demolished, bringing an important chapter of the Central Coast’s industrial history to an end.

In its heyday, the plant produced up to 40 per cent of the state’s electricity and engineers made sure it went out with a bang.
