  1. Hi! Thanks for the excellent item on the News re robot-assisted knee replacement.

7 weeks ago Dr James Hasn of Kanwal did this op, a patello-femoral replacement , for me. It has been a brilliant success.
(I understand that I was the first to have this done by him, an emminent orthopaedic surgeon.)
I was up walking the following morning, and quickly progressed from forearm-support frame to walking stick in 2 days. I was discharged home on Day 4.
The staff at NGH were wonderful. I do my prescribed exercises, and attend hydro pool regularly. I walk unassisted with hardly a twinge of pain.

Your weather report is the highlight of the news for me. I am a graduate geographer, and have kept a weather log for where I live at Wyongah for more than 25 years.
I appreciate your in-depth understanding of weather phenomena and thank you for the explanations you often give. Your predecessor, Gary was also excellent.

    Keep up the good work!
