64-YEAR-OLD DIES AFTER VEHICLE COLLIDES WITH TRUCK NEAR TAMWORTH

The driver of a Nissan Navara has been killed after his vehicle collided with a truck in the north west of NSW.

The collision occured just after 4pm yesterday, on Fossickers Way in Manilla, about 47km from Tamworth.

The 64-year-old male driver of the Nissan was treated at the scene before being taken to Tamworth Base Hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the truck, a 28-year-old male, was treated at the scene for minor injuries before undergoing mandatory blood and urine tests.

Three other male passengers, aged 28, 35, and 39, were taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries and have since been released.
