To the water, and Central Coast surfers faced heavy competition in today’s Burleigh Pro on the Gold Coast.
Kira-Belle Olsson put on a strong performance in her quarter-final, cruising through with a score of 15.
She brought the same energy to the semis, but lost out to rival Kobie Enright – 16.85 to 16.75.
In the men’s event, Ryan Slattery impressed the judges early, scoring a 10.9, but was unable to land a spot in the finals.
Meanwhile, Saxon Lumsden made a promising start with his combination, managing a score of 9.4.
