After a ten-year hiatus, the Australian Formula Power Boats raced through Newcastle Harbour today.
The two day event had record entries after organisers announced it’s return to Newcastle, in a different location.
Spectators this year, moving from Queens Wharf to Honeysuckle.
“This suits us a lot better there’s a lot bigger area, a lot more spectators as you can probably see, ” said Gavin Bricker.
Off the back of its success, organisers are now endeavouring to make it an annual event across the Australia Day weekend.
