GOLD COAST MAN CHARGED OVER A SPATE OF ALLEGED ATM ROBBERIES

A Gold Coast man will face court over the robbery and attempted robbery of nine ATM machines across South East Queensland.

The 34-year-old from Helensvale will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with various offences including four counts of entering a premises and committing an indictable offence.

Police say the ATM’s were located in shopping centres, and were targeted between January last year through to January in 2018.

A 38-year-old Brisbane man will also be charged with nine counts of entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, and obstructing police.
