A man has been glassed during an alleged assault on the Mid North Coast over the weekend.
Police say the incident happened outside a golf club on Edgar Street at Frederickton, near Kempsey, just before 10pm on Saturday, when the victim was allegedly approached by another man who struck him with a glass.
A 30-year-old man was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital with wounds to his head and neck, but has since been released.
Police subsequently arrested a 33-year-old man a home in Frederickton about 1.30pm yesterday.
He was charged with reckless wounding, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and will appear in Kempsey Local Court next month.
