ON DEMAND BUS SERVICES TESTED FOR THE FIRST TIME

Major changes to Newcastle’s public transport system have been rolled out, with up to 1,000 additional bus and ferry services available to commuters.

The revised network will also feature an ‘on demand’ service across selected suburbs.

It’s the first significant change to the network since 2008 – with bus route numbers reduced from three to two.
