TOMAGO FIRE: The Rural Fire Service has issued an EMERGENCY WARNING for a fire on Masonite Road, Tomago.
Residents in Barry Close, Cabbage Tree Rd and Massonite Rd are advised to shelter in place. Do not try and leave the area as it is too late to leave.
The Rural Fire Service estimate 30 to 40 homes to be in the vicinity.
The fire is heading easterly directions towards the Newcastle airport.
