BREWER DETERMINED TO HELP JETS WOMEN INTO THE FINALS

The Jets women will face Adelaide in the early game at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The W-League side is coming off a hard-fought two-all draw with Sydney.
“We had to work hard and try and get that point back and we did that in the dying moments of the game and I think that’s what we can pride ourselves on is that we work hard right until the end.”
The second-placed Jets will call on that fighting spirit again during the last three games of the season.
Hannah Brewer is determined to help Newcastle qualify for the finals, especially after scoring her first goal in round nine.
“Playing as a fullback and getting forward and creating havoc up the top is something Deansy wants us fullbacks to do. I was given the chance, scored a goal so that’s what I’m looking to do the next few games.”
