SEAGULLS TAKE ON SABRES ON SUMMER BASH

Returning to cricket, and game two of Newcastle’s new Summer Bash competition is underway, with the Stockton-Raymond Terrace Seagulls taking on the Newcastle City Sabres.

City batted first and looked in trouble early, sitting at 2 for 24 in the fourth over.

But that brought Dylan Hunter and Ollie Robson together at the crease.

Robson, a County player from Sussex in the UK, made his presence felt.

He and Hunter took the Sabres to 178, before the side finished with an imposing total of 215.

The Seagulls have just started their innings.
