JASON SANGHA LEADS AUSSIES TO 53 RUN WIN OVER SRI LANKA

Newcastle cricketer Jason Sangha has led the Australian Under-19 side to a 53-run win over Sri Lanka in its opening warm-up match for the World Cup.

The Aussies batted first in Christchurch and finished on 7 for 251 from their 50 overs, with Sangha notching 27 runs off 44 balls.

Australia will play its final warm-up game against South Africa tomorrow, before beginning its campaign against India on Sunday.
