CHARLESTOWN BEAT CARDIFF-BOOLAROO IN SUMMER BASH OPENER

Last night, Charlestown easily accounted for Cardiff-Boolaroo in the opening match of the series.

The Black Roses were chasing 134 for victory, but when opener Nick Watson was dismissed for 38 late in the innings, they were in real trouble.

Cardiff-Boolaroo was eventually all out for just 81 – the Magpies scoring a healthy win.
