2017 was the 3rd hottest year on record for the nation as a whole but for northern New South Wales and South East Queensland, it was the hottest on record.
Another warm to hot day is on the way as the weak change moves offshore quickly. The northerly air flow will return and temperatures will again soar as we move towards the weekend. The tropical low is expected to reach cyclone status.
