CENTRAL COAST BATTERED IN STORM CELL
The Central Coast was caught up in last night’s cracking storm cell.
Narara recorded the highest rainfall with 30 millimetres falling in 24 hours.
Strong winds also battered the north, with the Wyong SES receiving 40 calls for assistance.
Berkeley Vale was the worst hit region…this trampoline flipping onto one resident’s roof.
More than 3,000 homes were left without power, the largest outages occurred in Ourimbah, Fountaindale, Niagara Park and Mangrove Mountain.
Power isn’t expected to be restored until later this evening.
