NORTH COAST SURF BOAT SERIES GATHERING MOMENTUM

Kempsey Crescent Head has retained its lead in the club championship after Round 6 of the North Coast Surf Boat Series.

Conditions were rough yesterday as 45 crews from Tugan to Pacific Palms did battle across seven divisions at Old Bar Beach.

The Woolgoolga Surf Club dominated, winning the open men, open womens and masters women’s categories.

Those victories gave them a progressive total of 403 points … 66 behind Kempsey Crescent Head which came away with just one win, in the Masters 160s.

Wauchope Bonny Hills, Coffs Harbour and Macksville Scotts Head crews also rowed their way to victory.
