DYLAN SUNDERLAND NARROWLY MISSES PODIUM FINISH IN ROAD RACE

Inverell’s Dylan Sunderland has finished fourth in the under-23 road race at the National Championships in Ballarat.

Extreme heat conditions and a high fire risk today caused officials to shorten the race distance to 92.8 kilometres.

he Bennelong Swiss Wellness rider finishing 26 seconds behind winner Cyrus Monk, with Armidale’s Sam Jenner crossing the line in 12th position.
