BRACE FOR HEAT WAVE
Residents across the North West are being urged to brace for warm weather this weekend, as the region experiences another heat wave.
The mercury is set to soar well into the 30s tomorrow and top 40 degrees on Sunday.
The Rural Fire Service is warning locals to be vigilant – today the Northern Slopes and North Western regions experienced high and very high fire danger warnings, respectively.
And they’re expected to stay that way – if not be upgraded over the weekend.
Police are also reminding motorists that not only is it an offence for children or pets to be left unattended in a vehicle, but it can be deadly.
