PUSH FOR MANDATORY LIFE JACKETS FOLLOWING DROWNING

Local lifeguards are continuing their push to make life jackets mandatory for ALL rock fishers.

The state government is currently conducting an independent review into the trial of compulsory life jackets in Randwick.

If deemed successful, it could be rolled out to other coastal areas.

The Central Coast was overlooked as the main trial site in 20-16.
