PADDY RYAN AND ALEX NEWSOME RETURN TO TRAINING PADDOCK

Having returned home to their old stomping grounds during the festive season, Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan and Glen Innes’ Alex Newsome were back on the training paddock yesterday, as the NSW Waratahs resumed training in Sydney.

Ryan is no stranger to the big smoke, having being part of the Tahs setup since 2011.

For Newsome though, it’s all a new ball game, in what will be his debut season for the state side.

The team opens their Super Rugby campaign on February 24 against the Stomers at Allianz Stadium.

PLEASE NOTE: SOME AUDIO AND VISION WILL BE UNAVAILABLE.
