MAN AND WOMAN ROBBED AT KNIFE POINT IN ARMIDALE

Armidale police are appealing for information after a man and woman were robbed at knife point overnight.

The pair – aged 19 and 20 – were walking along Donnelly Street, just after 11 o’clock when they were approached by two males of Aboriginal appearance.

One produced a knife and demanded their belongings.

The pair then fled the scene with a number of items, including a backpack.

One of the males is described as being aged in his teens, with a thin build and is around 170-centimetres tall, with short curly hair.

He was wearing dark clothing.

The other was also wearing a dark hooded jumper.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
