COUNCIL LOOKING INTO WOY WOY WHARF REPLACEMENT

Following last night’s NBN News story regarding Woy Woy wharf, Central Coast Council has confirmed it’s looking into replacing the structure.

A spokeswoman outlined that council is seeking grant funding from the state government.

Once secured, design and construction for a new accessible facility will take place.

The current wharf is more than four decades old, with this week’s king tides submerging the structure… highlighting the need for an upgrade.
