LATEST CRIME STATS FOR THE NORTH WEST

The latest crime statistics have been released with mixed results for the North West.

In Armidale, non-domestic violence related assaults rose from 181 to 207 incidents since this time last year.

The number of break and enters has fallen slightly.

In Tamworth, non-domestic violence assaults have risen by almost 100 incidents, while motor vehicle theft has increased by 12 per cent over the last five years.

And in Moree, there’s been a spike in break and enters with more than 400 reports in the last twelve months.
