GRAFTON PREPARES FOR HEAD OF THE CLARENCE

The Clarence River will be flooded with school colours and cheering this weekend at the annual rowing regatta.

19 schools, both local and interstate, will gather in Grafton for the Head of the Clarence.

The regatta is one of the largest in the state, with more than 250 crews competing for the overall title.

And racing doesn’t just stop at school crews…come Sunday the Masters will have their chance at victory in the Grafton Rowing Regatta.

Racing begins 8am Saturday.
