DOMESTIC VIOLENCE STILL HIGH ON CENTRAL COAST

Domestic violence continues to be the biggest problem facing Central Coast police, according to new figures released today.

While the number of incidents has dropped from last year, five year figures have risen by almost nine per cent.

This goes against the state-wide trend, which has decreased by 3.5 per cent.

All other major crime categories remained stable or decreased.
