‘APPALLING’ ANGLICAN BISHOP DESCRIBES FINDINGS OF ROYAL COMMISSION

Appalling and confronting – that’s how Anglican Bishop Peter Stuart has described the findings of the Royal Commission, into how the Newcastle diocese handled allegations of child sexual abuse.

Released late today, the report says several systemic issues allowed a group of perpetrators to operate within the church, for at least 30 years.
