142 CANNABIS PLANTS ALLEGEDLY DISCOVERED IN PROPERTY SEARCH

More than 140 cannabis plants have allegedly been discovered, along with a firearm, during a property search on the Mid North Coast.

The search warrant was executed at a property on the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek, 50km north of Coffs Harbour, last Wednesday.

Police say they recovered 142 cannabis plants, 2.3 kilograms of dried cannabis, a rifle and ammunition.

A 49-year-old man was arrested and charged with cultivating and supplying a prohibited drug, and possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm, among other charges.
