Clarence Valley sub-contractors say they’re unhappy with yesterday’s appointment of Price Waterhouse Coopers as the liquidator of Ostwald Brothers, saying they would have preferred a company with fresh eyes to look at the situation.
The Queensland company had employed many local companies on the Pacific Highway Woolgoolga to Ballina Upgrade, before going into administration in August.
At the employee and subcontractor meeting, creditors voted for PwC to remain as the administrators as well as for the company to be liquidated.
