NORTHERN INLAND BATTLING THE COAST

After matches were washed out last month, the Northern Inland Bolters will finally take to the cricket pitch for the Regional Bash this weekend.

They’ll be up against Macquarie Coast, Coffs Coast and Northern Rivers in Coffs Harbour.

The north west outfit will be hoping for a stronger showing than last summer, where they were bundled out in the first round.

A strong side’s been named, including New South Wales Country wicket keeper Tom Groth, and noted power hitters, Simon Norvill and Michael Rixon.

The Bolters first game is against Macquarie Coast, at 2pm tomorrow.
