NORTH COAST’S JAKE BROWN DRAFTED BY SYDNEY SWANS

Former Grafton and Coffs Harbour AFL junior, Jake Brown, has been drafted by the Sydney Swans.

The 19-year-old former Sydney Swans Academy member is the first north coast player to be drafted into the AFL senior ranks.

Brown, who started training with the Swans today, recently spent a period in rehab recovering from a back injury.

He says his goal is to make it through the pre-season training before pushing for a chance to run out at AFL level.
