SAM KERR STRIKE SINKS CHINA AS MATILDAS WIN SIX STRAIGHT

Matildas’ star Sam Kerr has been named W-A’s Young Australian of the Year and it’s unlikely to be her last accolade, if she keeps scoring goals like this.
The impressive strike capped off a three-nil win for the Aussies over China, with Kerr also scoring the opener in the first half.
The game was a milestone for Cobaki’s Eliza Campbell, with the former Jets keeper making her international debut.
